Welcome to Lake Serene Studio (“Lake Serene Studio,” “we,” “us,” “our”). We operate this website and online store (the “Site”) and provide related content, digital products, and services (collectively, the “Services”) to you.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. (“Shopify”), which provides the e‑commerce platform that allows us to sell our digital products to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Services. By visiting, browsing, purchasing from, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (https://lakeserenestudio.com/policies/privacy-policy) and Refund Policy (https://lakeserenestudio.com/policies/refund-policy). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1) ELIGIBILITY & ACCESS
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state/province of residence, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We may refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, to the extent permitted by law.
2) ACCOUNTS & ACCURATE INFORMATION
You may be required to provide information such as your name, email address, and payment details to place an order.
You agree that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete, and that you will update it as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3) DIGITAL PRODUCTS ONLY (NO PHYSICAL SHIPPING)
All products sold by Lake Serene Studio are digital downloads. No physical items are shipped and no physical delivery occurs.
Product previews (including mockups) are for illustrative purposes only unless stated otherwise. Colors and appearance may vary due to device and display settings.
Some digital products may require specific software, apps, fonts, or devices. You are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and requirements before purchasing.
4) PERSONAL‑USE LICENSE (NO SHARING / NO RESALE)
Unless a product page explicitly states otherwise, your purchase grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to download and use the digital file(s) for personal use only.
You may:
- Download and use the files for your own personal projects, as described on the product page.
You may not:
- Share, distribute, email, sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lend, gift, or otherwise provide the files (or access to the files) to any third party.
- Upload the files to any file‑sharing service, “freebie” group, repository, marketplace, or cloud folder where others can access them.
- Claim the files as your own, remove copyright notices, or register the work (or substantially similar work) as a trademark.
- Create derivative products primarily intended to redistribute our original files (for example: re‑packaging, tracing to resell, or making “bundles” that include our content as a main value).
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Lake Serene Studio. Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and may violate intellectual property laws.
5) ORDERS, PAYMENT & DELIVERY
Placing orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion, to the extent permitted by law. Your order is not complete until payment is processed.
Digital delivery
After payment is confirmed, digital products are delivered electronically via:
- a download link on the order status/confirmation page and/or
- an email sent to the email address used at checkout.
Delivery is typically available shortly after purchase, but may be delayed due to technical issues or third‑party outages.
If you don’t receive your download
If you cannot access your files, contact us at contact@lakeserenestudio.com and include:
- your order number, and
- the email used at checkout.
You are responsible for ensuring your email address is entered correctly and for checking spam/junk folders.
6) REFUNDS
Purchases are governed by our Refund Policy: https://lakeserenestudio.com/policies/refund-policy. Because our products are digital downloads, refunds may be limited and may not be available once access is delivered, except where required by applicable law or as described in the Refund Policy.
7) PRICES, TAXES & BILLING
Prices and promotions may change at any time without notice. The price charged is the price shown at checkout at the time you place your order.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method for your order.
8) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and all content on the Site—including text, graphics, designs, files, logos, and digital products—are owned by Lake Serene Studio or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license granted in Section 4, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you.
9) OPTIONAL TOOLS & THIRD‑PARTY LINKS
We may provide access to third‑party tools or links. We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party websites, content, or services. Your use of third‑party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10) RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Lake Serene Studio is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Lake Serene Studio. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Lake Serene Studio, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Lake Serene Studio.
11) USER CONTENT & FEEDBACK
If you submit reviews, comments, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display that Feedback for operating and promoting the Services.
You agree your Feedback will not violate any law or third‑party rights and will not contain malware or abusive content.
12) PROHIBITED USES
You agree not to use the Services:
- for unlawful purposes or to violate any laws or regulations;
- to infringe intellectual property rights;
- to harass, abuse, or harm others;
- to transmit malware, spam, or phishing attempts;

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lake Serene Studio (and our partners, contractors, service providers, and Shopify and its affiliates) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Services or any digital product.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15) INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lake Serene Studio and Shopify and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third‑party rights.
16) TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
17) SEVERABILITY

19) GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the courts located in USA, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
